Zoho and Avetium Host “Beyond Digital 2025” Event on Unified Tech Systems for African Enterprise Intelligence

Zoho, the renowned global technology giant specializing in cloud-based business software, in collaboration with Avetium, one of Africa’s foremost transformation consultancies, successfully hosted the “Beyond Digital 2025” event. This high-impact conference was strategically organized to convene influential business leaders, industry innovators, and digital transformation experts to explore a critical challenge: how African enterprises can effectively convert simple digital adoption into clear, measurable business outcomes and operational clarity. Held as a hybrid event at The Antonia Hall by Civic in Ikoyi, Lagos, the gathering successfully connected hundreds of participants across the continent, quickly establishing itself as a pivotal and strategic conversation focused on the crucial role of unified technology in driving growth. The event commenced with compelling opening insights delivered by Dr. Bayo Adekanmbi, a distinguished data and AI expert. Dr. Adekanmbi strongly emphasized that Africa’s next phase of economic advancement will not be determined merely by the sheer number of digital tools organizations acquire, but rather by the degree to which those tools are functionally connected and deeply integrated. He stated that many African businesses operate with digital applications scattered across different departments, but critically lack the unified systems necessary to generate true enterprise intelligence. He concluded that technology only delivers its promised impact when both business strategy and core systems are fully aligned. A subsequent high-level panel discussion brought together experts from diverse fields, including finance, trade, consulting, and enterprise innovation, featuring Folagbade Adeyemi, Managing Director of Anchoria Securities, Abisola Esan, CEO of African Import Export Solutions, and leaders from First Bank of Nigeria. The panelists highlighted common organizational realities, specifically citing challenges such as managing legacy systems, overcoming weak internal alignment, and fostering a low technology adoption culture among staff. They underscored that Africa’s future digital maturity will hinge heavily on sustained leadership commitment and the deployment of integrated solutions specifically built and tailored for the unique African business context. A standout segment of the conference was the customer case session, which provided attendees with a practical demonstration of how one organization successfully transitioned from highly siloed operations to a seamlessly connected system using Zoho’s unified suite, deployed and managed by Avetium. The tangible results demonstrated were faster decision-making cycles, noticeably improved customer experience, and substantially strengthened operational clarity. The event also featured two dedicated product showcases: the Zoho Innovation Showcase, which explored Zoho CRM, Desk, Analytics, and collaboration tools presented as a unified operating system; and the Avetium Transformation Showcase, where Lead Strategist Tobi Ogundipe demonstrated transformation frameworks and digital accelerators designed specifically for African businesses scaling across multiple markets. Concluding the event, speakers reiterated the central message: Africa’s next growth phase will undoubtedly be shaped by those organizations that choose strategic unified systems over fragmented digital adoption. For Zoho, the discussions confirmed the escalating demand for accessible, integrated technology. For Avetium, it reinforced their core commitment to transforming technology investments into genuine, sustainable business transformation across the continent.
