Egyptian developer New Plan Developments has laid out an aggressive 2026 roadmap, planning roughly EGP 2.5 billion in construction spending while chasing EGP 6 billion in sales by year-end.
Walid Khalil, Chairperson of New Plan Developments, said execution and delivery have become increasingly important yardsticks for judging developers — now weighed alongside sales figures and portfolio growth.
Delivery Targets
The company’s 2026 delivery goal includes around 2,500 units in the New Capital and 600 units in Port Said, according to Khalil.
New Plan Developments holds nine projects across the New Capital, New Cairo, Port Said, and the North Coast, spanning residential, commercial, administrative, and hospitality developments.
Several projects have already been handed over. Serrano and the first phases of Eleven, Atika, and Talla have been delivered, while Eclat Residence in Port Said is also delivered and operational. Construction continues at Amara and Sadaf, with work ongoing on other phases across the portfolio.
Where the Money Is Going
Khalil said 2026 construction spending is expected to reach EGP 2.5 billion, with funds directed toward ongoing projects and subsequent development phases. The EGP 6 billion sales target, he added, is underpinned by the existing project portfolio and new phases.
Sales Performance Across the Portfolio
According to the company, Serrano, Eleven, Atika, and Eclat have each recorded sales rates of 99 percent. Talla has reached 70 percent, Granvia 80 percent, Amara 60 percent, and Lamborghini 50 percent. Sadaf, launched this year, has recorded sales of around 25 percent.
Looking Ahead
Khalil said the company is evaluating potential expansion opportunities in Sheikh Zayed and the Red Sea region, while keeping an eye on balancing portfolio growth with construction and financing capacity.
He concluded that the company’s upcoming strategy would focus on selective expansion across locations and product segments, while continuing construction and delivery across existing projects.
