The BusyBee Event Business Summit has taken a significant step toward expanding its regional footprint by forming a new international partnership with the Sofitel Cotonou Marina Hotel & Spa. This collaboration marks a major milestone in BusyBee’s ongoing mission to strengthen the events, tourism and hospitality landscape across West Africa.
The announcement was made during the recently concluded 9th edition of the BusyBee Event Business Summit, held in Abuja. According to the summit’s convener, Bisi Sotunde, the partnership highlights the increasing global recognition the platform is receiving and reflects its commitment to intensifying cross-border connections within the industry.
As part of the partnership agreement, Sofitel Cotonou will sponsor an all-expense-paid trip for two selected delegates from the summit. The winners will enjoy an exclusive stay at the Marina Hotel & Spa in the Republic of Benin, offering them firsthand exposure to international hospitality standards and service excellence.
Sotunde emphasized that this development is more than just a collaboration—it signals the summit’s evolution into a regional force. “Our international partnership with Sofitel Cotonou Marina Hotel & Spa represents a significant milestone for the BusyBee Event Business Summit brand,” she said. “It demonstrates the growing global traction of our platform and reinforces our dedication to building stronger collaborations beyond Nigeria’s borders.”
The alliance is expected to open doors for deeper cooperation, professional exchange, and new business opportunities across the West African events and hospitality sectors. It also aligns with BusyBee’s broader goal of empowering event professionals, elevating service standards and fostering a more connected regional ecosystem.
