Organisers Unveil 13th GAH Awards & Business Summit, Set to Spotlight Innovation and Sustainable Growth in Africa

The organisers of the 13th GAH Awards and Business Summit have officially announced key dignitaries and thought leaders who will grace this year’s highly anticipated event. Among the notable personalities expected are Nigeria’s Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo; renowned human rights advocate, Femi Falana (SAN); and the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, reaffirming the summit’s growing influence across the continent.

The announcement was made during a press briefing held in Lekki, Lagos, where the convener of the GAH Awards and founder of GMYT Group Limited, Dr. Kelechi Oghene, addressed media representatives alongside distinguished industry professionals. The press conference, held on December 1, 2025, highlighted the significance of this year’s edition and the platform’s expanding mission.

Scheduled to take place at Eko Hotels & Suites on December 12, 2025, the summit will operate under the theme “Africa Reimagined: Innovation, Inclusion & Sustainable Growth.” Dr. Oghene noted that this theme reflects the urgent need for Africa to embrace forward-thinking solutions, collaborative growth models, and inclusive economic frameworks capable of transforming industries.

She explained that the GAH Awards platform has matured into more than a recognition ceremony — it has evolved into “a transformative movement” that uplifts individuals and strengthens entire value chains. The ecosystem created by the GAH initiative now spans multiple sectors, providing opportunities for leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs to connect and collaborate.

A key highlight of the 2025 edition will be the launch of the GAH Elite Club Black Card, a premium membership card designed to offer holders exclusive access to curated events, high-level networking circles, and business opportunities across Africa’s emerging industries.

Dr. Oghene called for deeper partnerships with private organisations, public institutions, and government stakeholders to accelerate the continent’s developmental goals. She expressed gratitude for the continued support from sponsors and collaborators, stating that the 13th edition aims to deliver lasting impact and inspire meaningful progress.

“As we gather for this year’s summit, the 13th edition reaffirms our mission to build a Pan-African platform where enterprise builders, policymakers, and innovators converge to exchange ideas and elevate excellence,” she said. “Our theme challenges us to look beyond our current limitations and embrace Africa’s vast potential across economic, creative, and intellectual spheres.”

With its bold vision, high-profile lineup, and strengthened networks, the GAH Awards & Business Summit 2025 is poised to be one of the most influential business gatherings in Africa this year.
