ORCA, a leading international home and lifestyle brand operating in 22 African countries, has officially opened its largest showroom on the continent in Lagos, Nigeria. The landmark opening, held on October 27, 2025, marks a major leap in the company’s expansion strategy and further establishes Lagos as a hub for premium retail experiences in Africa.
Situated in the rapidly developing Eko Atlantic City, the new showroom represents a strategic move for ORCA, which has spent more than two decades building a strong brand presence across Africa. Since its founding in Dakar, Senegal, the company has grown into one of the continent’s most recognisable lifestyle brands, boasting nearly 50,000 square metres of retail innovation across its markets.
The decision to position its flagship showroom in Lagos stems from the city’s energetic population, rapid urbanisation, and growing appetite for stylish, modern home solutions. ORCA’s successful operations in countries such as Senegal, Ivory Coast, and Gabon laid the foundation for its West African expansion, with the Lagos location becoming a major statement of the brand’s long-term commitment to Nigeria’s emerging lifestyle economy.
The new Lagos showroom spans four expansive floors, offering shoppers access to more than 100,000 unique products across diverse categories. These include luxury and contemporary furniture, kitchen and dining collections, décor pieces, homeware, exquisite lighting, children’s items, outdoor furnishings, and various lifestyle accessories. The space was designed to raise the bar for retail experience on the continent, merging global design trends with the daily needs and tastes of African homes.
In a statement during the launch, ORCA’s founders highlighted the significance of their move into Nigeria, saying:
“Nigeria represents possibility. ORCA is proud to introduce a world-class home and lifestyle experience to Lagos, inspiring how millions of people create the spaces where they live, work, and thrive.”
With its scale, curated product range, and strategic location, the new ORCA showroom is expected to serve as both a retail destination and an innovation centre for modern African lifestyle design—setting new standards for the industry.
